Really Cool Comic
I have no idea if I've mentioned this on my blog before, but after reading it it must be repeated.
Doujinshi is a difficult term to define. Independent comics, fanfic comics, whatever.
One in particular I just read is really fun, EXTREMELY well drawn, and quite dark, considering its subject material.
The Powerpuff Girls Doujinshi, by Bleedman.
He takes a lot of characters from the Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon cartoon universes, as well as a few writer- and fan-created characters, and twines them both into one universe. Very well-done stuff, and he's not afraid of adding his own twists, like death & psychology, while still giving it a humorous edge.
If you've seen, or know of, these comics, you should check it out:
Powerpuff Girls
Dexter's Laboratory
Time Squad
Invader Zim
Samurai Jack
Courage the Cowardly Dog
Metabots
Fairly Oddparents
Megas XLR
Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy
Johnny Bravo
