Crossroads & Crossroads
So I heard back from the guys at Bye Bye Birdie. They offered me the role of Maude, the bartender, but I decided it wasn't worth stuffing the rehearsals into my schedule, so I passed up on it.
Now the decision is, should I try to find another show that I want to stuff into my schedule, or work with my schedule as is, knowing that some days I'll be busy shopping for a new place to live, but other days wishing I could find some way to get out of the house?
I know I'm going to be auditioning for Secret Garden in November, but...
You know, yeah, I'm gonna wait for Garden. I figure if I can find a unit in October or early November, and set up a close in December or January, that's my best bet. Thanks for listening, everybody!
In other news, I'm a quitter. After working on Dark Cloud for the last month or so, I've decided that I'm gonna drop it in mid-stream for now. I seem to be doing that more lately with my games, mostly because I realize I don't have a full grasp of the various systems involved in them (like the weapons upgrade systems in DC) until its too late.
Same happened with Xenosaga. Fun game, but I realized too late that I had been spending half of my points on things that I shouldn't have been spending them on.
So right now I'm deciding if I should:
a) restart Xenosaga, as I bought the game over a year ago, and haven't beaten it yet,
or b) re-start Final Fantasy VII again, as all this talk of Advent Children and Dirge of Cerberus has me thinking I should probably beat the game again before AC comes out in November.
And, yes, I have no life, thank you very much.
